Description of the Wilde Mathilde

Wharram Tanenui
Built around 1985, exactly according to plan by James Wharram, using high quality marine ply and meranti.
Underwater coated in epoxy and set with a rubber band, we use to dry out on firm sand at the Waddenzee, the large estuary in the north of the Netherlands.

The ship is very carefully built and still in very good shape. It has been frequently used and is always well maintained.
